The river of her thoughts streaming her down

Every bit of her silence is a sign

That she lost her kingdom and crown

The voice of treason on the empty battlefield

Screaming in her heart, pulling her apart

Now she’s a soldier with no shield

Long lost hope and distant memories

Of liquid days and love’s murmur

Now she’s standing still with no armour

She’s in too deep

Yet the spark of life will reappear

The music of truth will whisper in her ear

And she’ll make peace with her deluded heart
