Cake you love to burn :)

 

Serves 4 people

 

Ingredients:

1 Genoise cake or any cake you like baking

Thick custard cream (pref without eggs)

Italian meringue (also called cold meringue because it’s not cooked)

Blow torch for the fun bit

 

 

 

Preparation

Cut the cake in two halves horizontally.

Spread custard cream on one side (be generous). Close both sides of the cake like a sandwich. Spread Italian meringue on top and on the sides. Burn it gently with a blow torch. This tool can be found both in cooking shops or DIY shops ;)

If you like : some finishing decoration like a rose or some chocolate on the top centre.
